PERFECT FOR: Anyone who dismissed spirituality as "not for them" because they're not religious.

Spirituality isn't about what you believe. It's about what you feel connected to.

Spirituality is the sense of connection to something larger than your individual self, however you define that, and the meaning and perspective that connection brings.

This is one of the most misunderstood dimensions of wellness, because it gets conflated entirely with religion. If you're not religious, it's easy to assume the whole territory is closed off to you. But spirituality can live in nature, in creativity, in service, in deep human connection, in philosophy, in music: anywhere you feel part of something bigger than your daily concerns.

You don't need doctrine to feel awe. You don't need belief in the divine to feel transcendence. You just need to notice what actually connects you to something beyond yourself and make space for it.

In practice, tending to spirituality looks like:

Noticing what genuinely connects you to something larger: nature, art, service, connection. Creating small personal rituals, even ones you invent yourself. Sitting with big questions without needing definitive answers. Seeking moments of awe and transcendence on purpose, not by accident.

TL;DR: Spirituality doesn't require religion. It just requires connection.

An Affirmation For You.

I am learning to feel connected to something larger than myself.
